Honorees to be Recognized at Ceremony on June 27, 2023

Robert (Bob) Damico, D.O., its chief population health officer and co-chief medical officer, was named a 2023 Healthcare Hero by NJBIZ Magazine, a leading business journal covering New Jersey.
The Healthcare Heroes Awards program was created to recognize excellence, promote innovation and honor the efforts of individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the quality of health care throughout New Jersey. Submissions are reviewed and winners chosen by a panel of independent judges. The program recognizes individuals and organizations across 12 categories.
Dr. Damico was recognized by judges for his pioneering role in and ongoing commitment to the delivery of value-based care programs for patients across N.J. For the past three decades, he has dramatically and positively impacted patient health and wellness across N.J. Seventeen years ago, he created and introduced value-based programs throughout the state; today, he is among NJ’s foremost value-based care experts. He’s considered a true trailblazer based on his proven track record in improving patient health while managing escalating healthcare costs through three integral programs he oversaw statewide.
